Luke 24:12-35

25 And he said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?” 27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

Who is the Bible about? It's about Jesus.

The whole Bible, Old Testament and New, is about Jesus. It's about Him coming to save sinners like you and me.

The disciples on the road to Emmaus needed to learn this truth and they did learn it, from the greatest of all teachers.

When we read the Bible we tend to first ask, "where do I fit in?" But the more important questions is to ask, "What does this text say about Jesus?"
